Yes yes, please report on her reaction to the game. Pandemic is my wife's favorite game (i.e. obsession), so I'm hoping a Pandemic-liking S.O. also likes DotR.
Edit: Oh, and you're one black cup away from having a complete, color-coordinated set of minion cups.
is that her skeptical face? i get the same look from Sarah when i start attempting to convince her that we need another game.. i'm pretty sure we're gonna need this one.
Unfortunately anything with a fantasy theme is too geeky for my wife. She likes Pandemic though. I still might need to get this though...
That is pretty much the boat I am in over here. My wife likes coop games though so she'll play this from time to time, but she'd rather play Pandemic or even Witch of Salem I think.

In a fantasy setting, I'd think you would be more chivalrous in the setup. The game board should always face the lady. You can deal with reading upside down, she shouldn't have to
Better yet, get her to "snuggle" next to you as you both play (the game that is) from the same side.

We do play this one from the same side, though the dining room chairs aren't really snuggly. Maybe I'll move the bench from the living room for same-side games!
