She is absolutely beautiful. You are a lucky man to have a gaming partner like that!

The shooting angle is not coherent with the other elements on the picture.

The stairs near the couch, the mini folding table, the position of the cordless...
How tall are you?

HA HA ... I never really paid attention to those things but I could see what you mean.( I am normal height by the way)

The phone was just put there for convience sake,

The angle was taken so I could get the entire game board in (every picture I took from a seated position it made the board almost impossible to see clearly ... it was either too dark or washed out and the artwork os Kingsburg is one I really like)
The stairs are for our little buddy diablo devil... he is a min-pin but getting a little old now-a-days (12 years old to be exact) so the stairs help get up on the couch so he can sit by his mamma!!
(or if Steph and I are both on the couch he insists on sitting between us!!)

I guess the folding tables are just an illusion ... they are normal size and are just used next to the gaming table when playing because as we all know .... THERE ARE NOOOOO DRINKS ON THE GAMING TABLE!!!

Wait... no one posted the most obvious question?

A girl who got a board game for her birthday? I thought you give things you want for yourself to little children who don't know the difference... Or did she actually ask for a board game for her birthday gift? Because if so, that is impressive.

My girlfriend gets board games for presents all the time. There are a lot of girls and women who enjoy the hobby just as much if not more than boys and men do.

My wife would flip if she saw my wishlist. That's AFTER she lost it if saw my games owned list and realized how much I have in my collection. If she knew what I paid for a couple she would flat out kill me!!shake

I bought Pandemic hoping she would like it though as she is an ER nurse. I also picked up Dominion, San Juan and Citadels thinking they might suit her. She loves them all but the kids are getting a bit "Pandemiced out" lately. LOL
