Nice! This is the best way I've seen the details of this particular mini enhanced so far. You can't really see anything from pictures of the clear blue "blob".

The skeleton was base coated in Graveyard Earth, then drybrushed with Bleached Bone. It was then lined in with Orkhide Shade (to give a deep shadow against the red). The flames were then base coated with Mechrite Red, and given a super heavy wash of Badab Black. The flames were then dry brushed with Blood Red, Blazing Orange, a 50/50 mix of Blazing Orange and Golden Yellow, and then a very light dry brush of Golden Yellow.

Thanks!

I had a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of a blue "blazing" skeleton so I decided to prime it and start from scratch :-)

Guess I left that part out! I primed using Games Workshop's Skull White spray. It took several light coats before the plastic started to cover. Even after priming he still looked more like a Yeti Snow-eleton than anything!

This looks so awesome!!! I have seen some others painted but I think I like this one the best. It is funny how much more you "get into" the game with the miniatures painted. Great Job!!!thumbsup
