Many thanks...but don't laugh. I've just spotted my 'deliberate' mistake. I completely forgot to paint the arm-straps on the shield.

'scuse me a sec

Excellent! I love how you worked on the bases too, those little bits of extra details really make these shine!

Thanks. The bases are dead easy. Just green grey, drybrushed with same + white and streaks of the drybrush mix painted on. Then they get a black brown wash along with the rest of the figure and then finally a few splotches of olive green wash just for a bit of variation.

It's a cinch if you use floor wax

BTW for the mix itself you don't need very much paint. FYI for the skeletons I've used one drop of brown, two drops of black, and an amount of Future/water mix equivalent to two vallejo type lids filled to the brim.

These are fantastic. One thing though, my skeletons have their left feet propped up on rocks/rubble. Am I just not seeing them here due to your work on the base? Did you cut them off? Different models?
Just curious. Amazing detail work.

Yep, I cut the rocks off. Makes them look a bit more dynamic IMHO, although they're a bit more floppy on the bases.

Very nice! I love the way you got the eyes to almost "glow" and the detail on the wooden backing slats is excellent.
