I had a situation where there were 2 corridor-corners and a chasm. I house ruled in that situation that I may search in the chasm and the secret passage would lead me to the other side of the gap.

In the old version you are allowed to leave the dungeon and re-enter in another corner. Convenient if you want to let someone else forge a path, but it wastes your time, too.

On a related note, Lindell could have moved backwards in that corridor, right? Since corridors only give you another movement, and don't tell you in which direction that movement is supposed to be?
As that would save 1-2 turns from the time limit, I think that'd be better than going back to the entrance. Unless you want to leave already, of course
I had a similar situation happen to me...... instead of the two rooms I drew two corridors, and instead of a third corridor like the picture I drew a rotating room..... Dead on turn one!
