I painted this mini almost as soon as I opened the box. I punched out all the bits and then started painting. This one seemed like the mini that most of my mates would like to see first, that why I chose it.

In all it took me about 4 and a half hours to paint from start to finish. It helped a lot that these minis come pre-undercoated too.

Very nice! Did you paint him on the base or pop him off? And do they pop off or did you have to cut him off and reglue him?

And "pre-undercoat"? I didn't think these minis had any paint on them...

They come already primered in the box, so that you can start painting straight away.

Really? I just thought the different colors was the mini. Well, I'll still need to clean the flash lines, but still I do like pre-primed minis

Just one more reason to love this game

I painted him on the base, I was just careful around the feet.
To be honest I could have done a lot better job of cleaning the flash lines, but I got so excited that I didn't.

So after painting this mini and being sure that it was the one all my mates would look at first, I was shocked to learn that none of them actually cared about my painting efforts. Pah, philistines!
I guess it's time to start reading the rules now.

Ha, that's funny. But don't listen to your friends! I was hoping to see your rendition of Franck!

Bah! Maybe my group of friends just got a little mixed up with yours. We all want to have our minis painted, but none of us are artistic! shake

When I first look at your painted MK II, I imagined WALL·E. Not sure why.
