If I was to play you with your set of painted minis and you gave me first pick, I'd be stuck! Both sets look incredible in their team colors. Well done, Romain!

Thx a lot ! I havent painted a single miniature in, like, 10 years, so I'm not as pleased as I should be with this paintjob.

Anyway, it s very plaisant to have such commentary !

I think blue inches ahead in my favorite of the color schemes. I'd choose blue. The Naga, Cleric, and Colossus, Mekanork, Banshee, - oh heck - they're all are phenomenal-looking.

I looked at the red team and I thought "yeah, this is great". Then I looked at blue team I now I know "it is even better".

Very nice job. Especially I like what you did with their skin. Fantastic. I hate to paint this part of human (or not) body.

My method is pretty simple : from darker to lighter.

The first "coat" of paint is brown, like "bestial brown" from GW. This coat is extremely slight, like milk. Then, I apply a second coat of this same colour, but only in the darker segment, like between muscles.

Then, I paint the lighter portion of skin, from brown to a mix of flesh + white. There is something like 6 coat of different colours for the skin.

Main problem with skin is light, because so often people fall in a classic trap : I have to highlight with white. Wrong, use a colour wheel !

For this reason, I decided to use yellow for the final touch on my mechanork flesh.

PS : and yes, my english is preeeeetty bad =)
