Excellent work, I think I will borrow your style for my Otyugh!
The crater looks great too. I assume that it had been washed in Gryphone Sepia? What other paints did you use?

Thanks! I use Citadel paints. The crater is from Warhammer 40k. Heavily washed with Watered down sepias and blacks.

i base coated blacks and bestial brown. then dry brushed the hell out of it over and over.I keep working layers up with lighter colors ending with shadow grey dry brushing to give an "ash' effect.

Sorry to ask, but I'm insterested in painting minis and I keep listening to 'washing' the minis, or something like that. What is to wash a mini?

Washing a mini means to apply a layer of wash to it.

Washes are very thin, ink-like paints which add tone and shade while still leaving the underlying paint visible to an extent.

Like dry-brushing, it can be used as a quick and effective technique for speed-painting miniatures, but it is also a valid method to use on "seriously" painted models.
