Ahhh Chad.... can't give away all my sources!

www.milsims.com.au = must be pre-promotional material?

I must say I was surprised to see it there. It has only just popped up.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Etailers often get game images from GMT prior to general release.

Almost there! ... cool

I like the cover. Sort of like waiting for a game! Here come my opponents, a few well aimed bullets, a stick grenade... ahh they won't come back!

Sold me!

Sorry - can I say that cover looks hideous?

It looks like some school-kid photocopied a black and white still from a book and slapped it on the cover of his report...in the 70s!

A pity as GMT usually has quite high standards of graphic design.

I´m fine with the cover - what i find a pity is that the mapart looks like from the 70s.

I'm sure the game is great, but I've got to agree. This is some lazy cover art.

Consider whether the logic of using the image of an individual contributes to the idea of a fighting a _formation_.

Here's the original to compare with:

(don't wanna hotlink it)

An incredible online archive of photographs to be found on that site.

I liked the map art and I liked the game as well. It has some classic Chad design elements, lots of variability, and it has tanks. I think the learning curve for the Soviet players is going to be steep.

I heartily agree - while tastes vary of course, GMT is taking some undeserved PC hits for beginning this series with a German formation, so an understated and clean cover image was the best path to take.
