Ars Magica is a role-playing game set in a version of mythical medieval Europe with added magical elements. The game rejects the notion that all character types should be essentially equivalent in power. In this game the magi, or wizards, are clearly the most powerful. The game uses medieval Latin for a number of key magical terms.
