Tired of having your Sign-up thread falling off the front page of the BGG Werewolf Forum? Want to get more people to see your sign-up thread?
Come log it here http://thecassandraproject.org/jeremy/werewolf/create_a_game...
Then everyone can see it here http://thecassandraproject.org/jeremy/werewolf/
And soon we will add the ability for people to sign-up for a game directly from Cassandra.
Also, if you have a google Calendar, there is now a button to add the game to your calendar.
More features being added all the time.

Re: Cassandra New Feature - Games in Sign-up mode
The Cassandra File are now automated. If you add your games and players into out database, you will automatically start the system to collect the posts for your games. You need to have all the players listed though. The collecting will start when your game is set to "In Progress".
No need to ask me to set it up for you anymore, you all have the Power now

Re: Cassandra New Feature - Games in Sign-up mode
I've just added the automatic player list ability.
Each game that is currently in our DB as in sign-up mode now has a post by "Cassandra Project". Any game that is now added will also get this post. So log your game with Cassandra as soon as you post the sign up thread and it will be at the top in a convient place.
As the Moderator updates the player list on Cassandra or if a player goes to Cassandra to sign up for a game that post will be edited with the current player list according to Cassandra's Database.

How do I add a new player (as in, not in the database yet) to my player list?

Added. The other way to do it, is to get the guy to request a password for Cassandra and that would add him to the list.

On the main page http://thecassandraproject.org/jeremy/werewolf/
Under the "Games in Signup" table you will see a link "Add a Game in Signup"
Click that and the rest should be self explanitory. If not let me know, I'll work on making it clearer.
(ps. I see you signed up for my test game. lol)

I'd like to try Werewolf online. How do I find [specifically] basic games that are starting up?

I don't see any newbie basic games starting up currently... but they popup suddenly and frequently as soon as someone expresses an interest sometimes someone will start one.
But that does give me a good idea, I should add a field to the db that lets the moderator specify how complex a game is. Then it would be easier for newbies to find appropriate games.

Read the "users guide" for Editing...
But the short answer... click "Players" at the top of the table.

Ahh... yeah, it is all done with Ajax so you have to have javascript enabled. I didn't think about the fact that some people have js blocked.

Re: Cassandra New Feature - Automatic Player List and Sign u
I just added a new feature.
Now if you log your game while it is in sign-up mode, you can use our "Random Role Assigner" to randomly assign your werewolf roles, before putting the game "In Progress".

But would it have taken A Clash of Kings yesterday? (Bagpipe Dan got over 100 votes, 53 of them from Kimapesan - and he wasn't lynched)

110 exactly
Best game ever.
Yeah, and some of those posts (two) were definitely multiple votes in one post. Like... the time Kima wrote a song, and the first and last line were votes.
Or the time he simply voted for me 10+ times in one post.
I'm going to again
But that is a good question. How would Cassandra have taken our BSC?

It wouldn't have. I only plan to make the auto vote tallyer work for the standard voting mechanism.
