In RSP we only speak of fake violence.

Unless these abuses are committed with scary looking guns, please move along.

With respect, what is the point of stating the absolutely blithering obvious? Is there anyone who thinks that all Muslims (or all Christians, or all Buddhists, or all sports fans, or all hot-dog vendors, or any other group defined arbitrarily by happenstance or choice) are good and/or nice people...? Surely we all know this?

You can't just throw that hand grenade without citing a source.

What can I add?
You can add the fact that the linked article makes no reference to these attacks being from Muslims specifically, despite your thread title.

I am not denying that some of the people involved in the acts committed were Muslim, I'm just clarifying that the linked to article only cites the fact that all involved were Pakistani.

It didn't say they were human either. [Joke]

Some things are inferred.

I have $100 that I'll bet against you $1000 the 95%+ of the threats were made by Muslim men. And I only bet on sure things.

That wasn't inference, it was unsupported supposition. Honour-killings are not specifically a product of Islam, but of Pakistani society.

Men in North America kill their wives, girlfriends and daughters with alarming frequency. We call it "domestic violence" instead of "honour killing", but it's the same thing.

I don't see how the sort of story in the linked article is related to the sort of story I linked to. Yours is an apparent murder suicide in a domestic dispute and mine was about intimidation of reporters [who are women] in a Muslim nation for reporting stories that were a little critical of Islam. Yours had a gun, mine didn't. Mine had acid though.

You never been to New York? St. Louis?

Give them both a try and then hop over to Rome. Tell me if you notice a difference in taste.

Fucking disgusting is what we have.

It was not so much about press intimidation as honour killings.

I didn't see any of that in the story. I may have missed it though.

The apparent "honour killing" of Pakistani social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch has led to renewed debate over women's rights in the country, including the freedom to speak out online.

There is no "debate" over women's rights in Pakistan. They simply do not have any. It really is a horrible country. You know why? Islam.
