Hey all,

Does anyone know which module first introduces the Sniper counter? I'd love to include it in my game but can't for the life of me find it in my Beyond Valor (1st edition) countermix.

P.S. I also have Starter Kit 1 but I know that doesn't include snipers.

Help!!

It should've been in your BV 1st edition counter mix.

If you bought it new, it's in there (if not, perhaps the original owner failed to include it). It's a 5/8" counter, so it might be mixed in with your vehicles / guns rather than infantry.

Truthfully, there's nothing on the counter that you need in order to use it - you could use a stand-in from some other game if worse comes to worst.

Also note that each nationality has it's own Sniper counter. So BV should have Sniper counters for Germans, Russians, and Finns, For King and Country: ASL module 5a for the Brits and so on.

When I die I want people to look at the condition of my games and say, "Man, he really played these alot."

If you can see it, it's not a very good sniper.

What kind, Common snipe, Jack snipe or Austral snipe? And does it look anything like an African swallow trying to ferry a coconut?

I have somewhere on the order of 20 hojillion sniper counters. If you don't have any, I could throw a couple in an envelope and mail them to you.

And when playing Red Barricades and the other campaign games, you get 2 sniper counters per side. So, save those extra ones! ninja <- closest thing to a sniper
