My friends like me, so that kind of puts their judgment in question to begin with.

In any case, I'm not on Facebook so I can't test them.

EDIT: Though I think this is just more of an indicator of my general ambivalence towards Facebook and represents my circle of friends as way more fair and balanced than I'm pretty sure it actually is.

One each for Clinton and Johnson, zero for the others.
Pretty evenly set, I would say.

I am trying not to have more than 50 or so Facebook friends, so this is a very small sample size. But this shows that I may have a slight liberal bias in friend selection. whistle

Thanks for the rent-free space in your head. Would have been nice if you'd cleaned it up a bit before you rented it out, though.

Assuming that this is accurate, out of 151 "Friends":

Trump: 7
Clinton: 0
Johnson: 2
Stein: 0

I find this fascinating. I get a lot more "Rar! Republicans suck!" posts in my timeline, and yet apparently none of these people "like" Hillary.

Meanwhile, I can only think of two people I'm connected to on Facebook who ever post anything about Trump, and one of them is supporting him VERY reluctantly. (Half the time he's posting about how he doesn't like Trump at all.) (EDIT: now that I look closely, it appears that the Trump "likes" are all from a group of cousins on one side of the family. And from what I can tell, they don't actually like him all that much.)

Of the two Johnson supporters, one is obvious (BJ) the other is surprising (a sister-in-law).

The conclusion I draw is that I'm friends with a heck of a lot of apolitical people. I like it that way.

Just for the heck of it:

Bernie Sanders: 4
Ted Cruz: 2

Out of 51 people: 2, 2, 0, 0.

All of them are just old high school people I haven't seen in over 25 years though, so it's not indicative of much beyond the general population. None of my real friends liked any of those pages.

Out of 1000+ so most people just don't "like" those types of pages.

So using Drew and myself as a sample size of two, I think it interesting that the liberals we associate with are much more prone to go with the agitator in Sanders than the status quo* in Hillary. I would be interested to see how many of my friends will cross that line and vote for Hillary NotTrump.

I'm not remotely fair and balanced. I'm near a college town, a lot of my friends are younger, I'm liberal, ergo Sanders. Additionally, my extended family is too far right for Trump.

RSP is essentially me peeking my head out of my liberal bubble every once in awhile.

I don't have Facebook, so I have no statistics to share based on that.

However, most of the people I work with are liberals who plan on voting for Hillary. In fact, one is an Ohio "Superdelagate" that is going to Philly next week to cast a vote for her at the DNC.

My gaming friends, on the other hand, are "Not Hillary" people, meaning they will most likely vote Trump just to keep Hillary out.

My family is a mixed bag, and probably split 50/50. My brother is a "NeverTrumper", but he doesn't like Hillary either. My one brother-in-law is a Trump supporter, but my other brother-in-law is a Democrat and will vote for Hillary.

Ohio is definitely a "Battleground" State if there ever was one. But I think Hillary wins it, for two reasons. 1.) People like Kasich, and are upset that he didn't get the nod, and 2.) I think people will realize by November that Trump isn't really qualified for the job, and therefore won't vote for him. Lost votes for Trump won't necessarily go to Hillary, but will definitely prevent him from winning.

And you can't win the White House without winning Ohio.

However, I have a non-serious prediction to also consider. Trump wins the White House this year because the Cincinnati Bengals defeat the Washington Redskins on October 30th, which everyone knows is the true predictor of presidential campaigns - if the Redskins win on the Sunday before the election, the incumbent party keeps the White House. I think the Bengals will beat America's second-most disfunctional NFL franchise this year, thus predicating a Trump victory two days later!
