Hi guys,

Currently we are running a crowdfunding campaign for Evolution on a Russian crowdfunding platform. It is a localized version.
Recently we came up with an idea to make acryllic food tokens for those who want. As additional purchase. Orange for meat food, green for plant.
However making the full pack of tokens (180+180, as for Russian edition) would cost too much. We'd like to make it affordable.

The question is, how many meat tokens and plant tokens will be enough for at least a 4-player game? We thought about 160 plant + 60 meat, but we are not sure.

Any thoughts about quantity are appreciated!

If a game needs it, I feel forced to create and implement some variants.

The type of food matters only per thematic reasons during the feeding actions. It doesn't matters once in the player's bags any more. So, I think it's not a good idea for an add-on in your campaing. EDIT: If is not a useful or esthetics component upgrade, people will not buy it.

Can't a local manufacturer make a deal with Northstar Games to release local versions? Still waiting for a Dutch version myself seeing how text is pretty vital.

North Star Games designs party games that don't suck! Play them with your non-gamer friends over the holidays.

First there was Hearts, then there was Spades, and now we bring you Clubs. The suit of clubs finally gets some respect!

Find a large Dutch publisher who wants to publish it and send me a geekmail!
