I've read a bunch of the posts on this, but since the Ouroboros seem to be a variant, does that mean in a "normal" game I should be taking these cards out of the deck?

Yes, or just putting them aside and drawing a new card if you happen to draw one of the Ouroboros cards from the deck.

Thanks! I missed that in the rules if it was mentioned there.

A "normal" game without the Ouroboros?! Nah, a normal game IS with the Ouroboros surely. Ahaheheh

Admittedly, a dangerously fiendish and tricky normal game (especially with less 'no panic' cards) but hey... I like a challenge.

That final 'boss' is a real pain and no mistake. Adds to the tension though.

Duuuuuuude, you are far braver than I!! I have yet to win even with the cards taken out. How good am I, eh?
