Hello I have another question, with high impact rule an alien or agent can not roll more than 5 blue dices if you have performed more than 5 wounds, but my question is, what happens if the weapon also has the skill of -DEF 1/2 dice to the atacker? For example:

1: You inflict 8 wounds to an alien with a weapon with -1 def dice, with the high impact rule on, the alien rolls (5 max blue dice -1))= 4, the alien only rolls 4 blue dices.

or

2:The same as above you inflict 8 wounds to an alien with a weapon with -1 def dice, the alien rolls (8 blue dices -1)= 7 but as the high impact rule is active, the alien only rolls 5 max blue defensive dices.

What case is the one correct?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know, it's the latter.

Correct; a High Impact kicks in after any other modifiers, so -1 def dice only matters if you have 5 or fewer HITs coming in.
