Probably noob question.

Can you pick and choose your allies for attack and/or defense?

For instance pick one ally and flat out refuse another. Critical when they have 4 foreign colonies.

Yes, the offense and defensive main players can pick and choose who they invite to ally with them. This means it's possible for a non-main player (or even all non-main players) to receive no invitations to ally from either side.

Why is there no Word Games Forum or Subdomain?

There should be a Word Games Subdomain, or at least a Word Games Forum!

The order of events is:

1. Offence invites whichever player(s) they want to have as allies.
2. Defence invites whichever player(s) they want to have as allies.
3. Allies decide (in order) who to ally with, but they can only choose players who invited them.

So, you *can* choose who to invite, but you can't then choose to not accept them if they take you up on the invite.
