I used to come here to BGG as my primary source for gaming discussion.
For whatever reason DreadBall's community seems to be more centralised on Facebook.
Is there anyone here that isn't part of the DreadBall Fanatic Group on Facebook?
Why do you think Facebook became the primary place for the DreadBall Community?

I don't use Facebook for gaming related anything. I use it to pass pictures of the kids and pets to my deployed wife and to keep in touch with a handful of friends.

I keep hobbies/politics/pretty much everything else off of it.

There's a pretty active DreadBall community in Washington DC. They run a DreadBall tournament more or less quarterly. I drive down from Toronto to play. There are usually anywhere from 6 to 16 players there for the tournament.

Facebook is more accessible due to the apps, photos etc are easier to post and comment on and its got a wider base than this specialist forum.

That and this style of Forums are slowly dying as tech moves on, its a lot easier to have all gaming discussions on FB whilst your also catching up with mates who live abroad or looking at events and talking to retailers - its a one stop shop so why come to a specialist forum?

I love the database and files side of BGG but seldom use the forums unless there is no FB group that could answer my query.

I do not use Facebook for gaming either and honestly, wouldn't. I seem to hover around BGG, Reddit, and Bell of Lost Souls for my gaming stuff.
