It's obviously not practical or cost effective now, but 3D printing technology seems to be rapidly advancing and is tailor made for board games. In the not too distant future, we gamers should be able to print our own custom zombies, walls, 3D tiles, etc. for games like Black Plague. Should be fun.

Well...there's a Kickstarter going ATM for the files for 3D walls, roofs, etc. for both Z:BP and classic Zombicide. Get the files, find your local 3D hub and away you go...

Yeah, that's OK and all, but it's not quite what I mean. Disney's doing some really cool stuff 3D printingwise that's not quite ready. Someday the technology will be great for gamers. Some years away still.
