Hi,
im new to caverna and try to figure out rules.

right now im stuck @breeding rules.

i dont get the part about animals breed at the same time.

what happens when i have two differnt types of animals (sheep and cattle) on two differnt tiles (that only holds two animals) but only a empty single fanced tile. (no space in mines, full house)

what is right:
1. put cow on free fenced tile, convert it to food. put sheep there
2. put cow on free fenced tile, all space is covered now. sheep does not breed
3. not enough space to hold both new cow and sheep. no breeding at all.

with dogs and / or rubys i could get space, but what happens with non of those?

edit, since there is:
Quote:
You breed all of your Animals at the same time. You can’t
breed one Animal, then immediately trade it for Food to make
space for another Animal.

i guess 1 is wrong

If you have two (or more) types of animals that can breed, but room for only one baby, you choose which type will breed and fill that space. The others don't breed.

2 is correct.. or option 2b:
2. put sheep on free fenced tile, all space is covered now. Cows do not breed

If you mean "put calf on free fenced tile, convert it to food. put lamb there" you are correctly describing what the rules prohibit: You may not eat the calf (or the lamb).
