First question: Can players on the same team play attack/defend cards during the same turn? The example shows an alternating form of play, but otherwise suggests it is a one vs one scenario. However, the rules just after that mention "go for the flush" but not to share specific card info, which suggests to some players that they can play cards together if a legal card can be played.

Second question: Must you always attack the player to the left, or can you choose who to attack? I suspect this question has more to do with avoiding certain defense cards.

Thanks!

Hi,

Question 1
In the four player version of the game, only one player will be attacking or defending at a time. So if you're defending, your teammate can't play cards to help you.

The "go for the flush" example was meant just meant to show an example of a player giving their teammate encouragement.

Question 2
You always have to attack to the left. (Sometimes we play a game and then have a rematch where we switch two teammate's seats so now everyone is attacking a different player.)

In effect, the four player rules work just like playing one-on-one, except "press the assault" translates to skip the attack turn of the opponent to your left.

Thank you,
Danny
