==================
VERSUS BATTLE GAME
==================

Two to four Treasure Hunters enter the house in a Jewel collecting race!
Set up for either a Basic Game or an Advanced Game. Character Abilities, Ghost Event Die & Ghost Spawner may also be used.

1. Treasure Hunters no longer team up to battle Ghosts or Hauntings.

2. Unhaunting a room. Roll both Battle Dice - if BOTH dice roll an UNHAUNT ICON, the Haunting Marker is removed.

3. The Treasure Hunters CAN leave a Haunted room with a Jewel but all remaining movement is lost.

4. Jewels
Jewel numbers remain a secret. When ending a move in a room you may look at the Jewel number but only pickup your own numbered Jewels.
Jewel numbers to be collected for three and four player games: RED 1+2, BLUE 3+4, GREEN 5+6, YELLOW 7+8.
Jewel numbers to be collected for a two player game: One player to collect 1 to 4 with their opponent collecting 5 to 8.
Jewels must still be collected in numerical order. With less than four players all Jewels are still added to the board at game start.

Note: When playing the Basic Game the Advanced Game rules for Jewels are used during Versus Battle.

WINNING THE VERSUS BATTLE GAME
The first Treasure Hunter to escape the house with all their Jewels wins!

LOSING THE VERSUS BATTLE GAME
If all 6 Haunting Markers are on the board or another Treasure Hunter escapes with all their Jewels, you lose!
