Cuba Libre, from the COIN Series, for $39 at Cardhaus.

http://www.cardhaus.com/catalog/board_games/cuba_libre/25370...

Amazon: $57
CSI: $45
MM: $44

Passive-Aggressive Disclaimer:
Please be aware of Cardhaus's criteria for free-shipping and holding orders.
Cardhaus does not offer free shipping unless you order $125 of product.
So maybe shipping kills this deal for you.
Or maybe this puts you over the threshhold for free shipping.
Maybe you'll add it to a preorder so you can get the good price AND free shipping later.
Maybe you'll just have them hold an order (30 days maximum!) so you can keep adding to it until you get the free shipping.
Maybe it's still a good deal for you even with shipping.
Maybe you live near their store and can pick it up for no shipping before you swing by Zesto for a cone.
Maybe you'd rather swing by NABC for a pint instead of Zesto for a cone.
Maybe you're equal-opportunity, and want a pint AND a cone.
We all have different situations, so I'm truly sorry if this deal doesn't work for you because of your situation.
Warning! This special may cause at least $125 in wallet damages due to free shipping threshold!

So tempted on this one, but I never got my head around Labyrinth: The War on Terror, 2001 – ? so I doubt I could play this.

From what I understand, this is the easiest game in the series to wrap your head around.

Well now I'm scared of the other ones.

Labyrinth is not a COIN game. That said, I don't think the COIN games are any simpler to learn than Labyrinth.

Well, I had heard somewhere that Labyrinth was kind of between a COIN game and Twilight Struggle. I can play TS, but Labyrinth I couldn't grasp, though maybe it was the theme.

Luckily with shipping this isn't such a hot deal for me so I can hold off.

Re: [Cardhaus] Cuba Libre $39
I can kinda see that, thematically. Play-wise, Labyrinth is much closer to TS since they both follow the traditional GMT CDG model where you play cards from your hand. In COIN games, you flip over one card at a time from the deck, and that card sorta drives the turn for all players.

Appears dead now: listed back at $43.99. Still not a bad price, but not a guaranteed grab for me.

Thanks for the post OP.
