(This may be obvious to people who've been playing for a while, but coming back to this game for the first time in a few months, my opponent & I were having trouble figuring out which units to use. So, this combines this thread on the British setup and this thread on the German setup, and adds pretty pictures cropped from oi_you_nutter's great counter sheet scans.)

British Units

Hal Infantry Battalion: All units except for the mortars and 6-pdr AT guns (6 units). Yes, it looks like vehicles are being included in an infantry tutorial, but the last special rule for this scenario says they're being treated as infantry.

KOYLI Infantry Battalion: Same deal.

German Units

1/Pi130 Pioneer Company (3 units). These guys are pretty self-explanatory.

2/Pi130 Pioneer Company (3 units).

3/Auf Recon Infantry Company (4 units). This includes the MG unit.

4/Auf Recon Infantry Company (3 units).

IG/5/Auf IG Section (1 unit).

Pi/5/Auf Pioneer Platoon (1 unit).

Thanks for doing this, Rusty!

Technically, they are infantry platoons, but their carriers (small, open-topped, lightly-armored, tracked transports) figure into their stats and rules. In 18.T1, they are carrier-less. Just assume that their carriers dropped them off in the starting hexes.
