So this is going to be a weird question. :P I absolutely love the number dials in this game for tracking numbers in other games... they hold their place when bumped (unlike dice or tokens) don't waste paper writing anything down, and are easy to adjust.

I'd really like more dials like this, but don't want to buy a second core set just for two more dials. I've found at least one other FFG game, Blood Bowl Team Manager, that uses similar dials, and it's a little cheaper, but I'm not a giant fan of the look of the dials in that game.

So my question is, does anyone know of any other FFG games that use simple 00-99 number dials? Especially if the game is fairly cheap?

You could try some Munchkin damage counters, or ebay for more LotR counters?

Third parties, like Litko, have inexpensive similar ones.

Or you could try ebay

There are a few in the files section if you don't mind making them yourself.

I use knitting counters.. the kind that slide onto the end of a knitting needle, in order to count rows.

They are cheap, small, and count up to 99.

They're perfect for counting threat or willpower or suchlike..

You can get them in different sizes.

You can get them on eBay easily.

There's always The Game Crafter, but you'd have to make them in bulk to be worth it. You need to order four dual dials at a time, which is $5.99, plus shipping.

Imperial Assault uses similar dials, but that game is even more expensive than LotR.

I agree that third party accessories or DIY solutions would be your best bet. I doubt there's a game in a price range to be worth it just for the dials.

I stopped using the dials and went with these:

When I play single-handed I use the second display to count turns.
