How would you like to play a game?

The following will be a Vengeance game for 3-5 players. I will control villains and environments. Here's how selection will work.

- We'll start with the villain team being The Vengeful 5
- Each player will select their hero. Any official hero/variant (including variants from the foil pack for released heroes) is fair game, along with any hero from The Cauldron.
- In addition, each player may also optionally replace one villain in the current roster with a different villain. You may not replace a villain another player has selected, but you may return a villain that has been replaced (For example: Player 1 replaces Friction with Citizens Hammer and Anvil; Player 2 replaces Proletariat with Friction).
- Players may also put in a vote for an environment. Environment with the most votes wins; I'll settle any ties.

Player spots are first come, first served (although I reserve the right to give priority to players who are either not already in a game and/or are on the current waiting list). If (H) ends up less than 5, I will adjust as needed. Once selections are finalized, I'll randomize order and will play the first turn.

Play will start either Wednesday evening or after 5 players are drafted, whichever comes first.

I know one has already said he's interested.
But if we can get solid queue going it should allow for easier player sign ups in the future.

Updated the first post with the current party as of this point. Since we have enough interest, I'll lock players down tomorrow morning if I haven't heard from someone who isn't already in a game. In the case no one shows, we'll determine the last slot by dice roll (evens: TakeWalker, odds: Radulla)

We can go ahead and pick characters for the first four players. Highest roll goes first, go down from there:

All the text (I believe) should be up to date in the hero's thread; pasting either the text or a link to the image should be fine for anyone who doesn't own them.

(I also own a copy of the Cauldron heroes except Impact that I can reference if the need arises. Either way, you should be fine )

No preference on Villain or Environment.

I have a slight preference for playing Advanced if we have 5 heroes, but Standard difficulty if we have 4.

I'll vote against Advanced or Challenge. Oh, and for environment, how about the Mobile Defense Platform?

Alright, the stakes have been set! First turn will come tomorrow morning. In the meantime, let's get through some administration:

It looks like there isn't any villain/environment manipulation going on. So, I'll keep track of the top card of every deck as needed. That way, I should be able to respond to peoples' turns quickly. My goal is to try and get through a round at least every two-three days.

Any decisions that need to be made (such as resolving a tie for lowest HP) will be given a chance for majority response.

You all may share as much or little information with each other as you want.

Any further clarifications: feel free to ask.

Turn Order:

Baron Blade: Ha! You fools! Baron Blade always goes first! (The rulebook even says so )

Mobile Defense Platform, as the Environment, goes last.

Everything else will be by dice roll, highest to lowest.

I can't remember if there's a distinction between play vs put into play, so I am going to allow this for now. Will consult the folks here and at GTG for opinions. I might ask for a change in turn depending on the results.
