I haven't played the dragon yet, so this is probably an incredibly stupid question, but... what is the benefit for the dragon (especially underground, as it may move through dark tiles) to reveal tiles using Flame, Scorch or Burn?

Revealing an Event tile is a way for the Dragon to take a cube off the Pride track.

Likewise, to reveal treasure. Or a crystal (that he could smash to prevent the knight from getting it.)

It can also create space to run further from the Knight.

By Burning along the edge of the map behind a layer of dark tiles you could:

Use walls to create a weird hinterland on the board that the pesky Knight can't get to. That lets you not move for a turn while the you expend that cube.

This gives you a place to stash the Dragon Gems away from prying eyes.

Scorch and Flame could do this too just get better control my way.
