Reading the rules as written: that if you catch or pass another pawn on the track they are removed from the game, how do you ever make a complete circuit? It seems like the game would be a vicious circle stalemate as one player moves around the board only to be nipped by the next. Are the safe zone and teleport spaces that important to the game play? Also the rule about pieces can't capture if they're just entering the board, but it seems like just playing it as Sorry would make the game go faster, if not better.
The safe spaces are huge - but really also the turn order. Resolving from highest down really forces you to push your luck in some situations to try to move first - though at the risk of not moving at all.
