When blowing a tile to an adjacent square does the tile need to be touching an another adjacent tile on completion?

FYR: Also it would be good if the board folded inward rather than outward as when the game is complete you can fold the board and tip the pieces into the bag instead of them falling onto the table.

A: No, the tile being blown does not need to be touching any other tile, nor does it need to match any adjacent tile.

I agree this would have been a more functional design. If a second edition gets made maybe they might change this design, although that wouldn't help those of us who have the first edition!
