Today I got a final assembly approval copy of MP Energy Empire. It has fully punchable bits and all the glory that will ship to backers in another month and be sold in stores. It's awesome, but we want to share the awesomeness...

Who would you like to see review this copy? What reviewer do you think will make the biggest impact for us? Dice Tower has already done the first exclusive. GameBoy Geek has already been sent one. DriveThu Reviews and Man Vs Meeple are scheduled to get copies when we deliver.

Joel Eddy of Drive Thru Review is my favorite reviewer, so he gets my vote.

For Podcasters, I'd like to hear what the Dukes of Dice have to say about it.

Rolling Dice and Taking Names is the clear choice. Not only are they great reviewers, they also have jobs in the energy industry so I am sure they'll be extra enthusiastic because of that.

I personally would advise against Mina's Fresh Cardboard. She is a fine reviewer and very thorough, but she mainly reviews from a two-player perspective.

While this subject is being raised, are you guys looking for a reviewer whom people like, whom people trust, or who will likely give it a positive review?

I'd also like to see a review from Mina. The other reviewers you mention will give us an excellent idea of how the game will play at the upper end of the player count. It's nice to hear a 2-player perspective

Mainly someone with enough audience to help build the buzz for the game. Even an average review where they mildly like it helps spread the word and lets people make up their own minds. But I suppose we don't wish to send it to people we know won't be inclined to like a 90+ min euro anyway.

Rahdo did his review with the usual 2-player perspective and loved it. It can be found around here or on the Kickstarter page.

While that is true, do you have a review from a female perspective? If not, you should.

Mina does great reviews, but she does not do them "from a female perspective." I can't think of a single reviewer, male or female, that reviews games from a female point of view.

I think one of these candidates would be best. From largest impact to the smallest.

- Shut Up and Sit Down (pretty much the biggest, but question is can they review game in time?)
- All the games you like are bad
- No Pun Included
- Jon Get Games.

We got one of the reviews in, from Man VS Meeple:

We're not going to beat around the bush. This game is one of the best ones we've played all year...and there's been a lot of great games so far this year. The Manhattan Project: Energy Empire has everything that a medium-weight euro should, and its mix of worker placement and machine-building is executed incredibly well.
And this time we have a special contest. We'll be giving away two copies of the game. The first will be the very copy that you see on our table in the review, AND it will be shipped you the winner prior to the games expected November release! How awesome is that? The second winner will get their copy upon the release of the game, but it will be worth the wait.
Just comment below to enter, and be sure to follow us on Twitter and here on Facebook. (Note: The pre-release winner copy is only eligible for US shipping addresses.)
