I may have to pick a copy of Fury of Dracula before the supply starts to dwindle.

That's what happen when two greedy companys can't agree who will make most profit.

Makes it even worse with the obvious cash grab with the 2 character POD expansions now doesn't it, them knowing it was dead already.

If "they knew it was dead already," I don't think they would have set up Q1 Tournament Kits for the WH40K Conquest LCG (now cancelled).

Wondering which one of them was being the most stubborn. Given GW past history I'd say it leans more on them. Though I wouldn't proclaim FFG being innocent here either, especially with them being under Asmodee's thumb now.

I had been, but it was eclipsed by the prospect of Arkham Horror: The Card Game even before this death-blow.

It is still a great game, just that the main thing missing from the game is more content!

Oh I'm sure it is but if the prospect of future content isn't really going to happen then I'm less likely to buy it.

Not too surprising, with GW being more committed to boxed games now that they have realised that they are a games company rather than a miniatures company. If they could actually get some of their games below $100 then this might produce a few good results.

The question is, how much of each game is owned by FFG - are we going to see rethemes of all the big games that only have GW IP pasted on them?

How long has this been in the pipeline? The first I heard of it was the announcement on FFG's page, (I went there hoping for an Armada preview).

Damn, I really liked those releases from FFG.
Must be honest I'm sad to see them discontinued.
Well, must free up some budget to get a couple more while stock lasts than!

I've been on the fence about buying BBTM for a long time. But now I basically either have to bite the bullet and pick it up this weekend or forever hold my peace.
I have a feeling that this one will more likely be reskinned by FFG and released as a new game, than fully rereleased by another company.

Wow. In a totally atypical bout of accidental good timing, I finally pulled the trigger on 'Fury of Dracula' two days ago. Just checked and the same place is now already listing it at £5 more expensive. It may just be coincidence, but still ...

That's a great game, I think my only 10... If this gets you off the fence maybe it isn't such a bad thing

Just bought Chaos in the Old World. whistle

(... and Forbidden Stars)

Well its 7 days later:

The only place I can find Chaos in the old work has it at 240% more expensive.

Oddly Stars has gone down.

The base set is lacking in content. This wasn't an issue because of the FFG model of expanding.

Nice joke though.

Even though the game itself is not that thematic in terms of being a simulation of a sport, the theme and art is actually quite incredible and often implemented in the mechanics in very funny ways. BBTM is probably the game that FFG could least replicate with one of their knockoff universes (which are way too serious, for starters). It's also one of my favorite games of the past decade so I'm probably a bit biased. :P
