Hello all.

Will edit this post moving forward, Sdric has kindly agreed to host yet once again a game for us, we will be playing RR scenario, as it is a first test I would like to set up one extra condition to the normal game:

At the end of turn 2 and at the end of turn 4 I will set up a vote on continuing or restarting the game after making adjustments, the idea is not to keep going if we feel we didn't get something big right.

Initial players (Please confirm here you can play so we can find alternatives if you are not available):

Mordredpendragon
Darknico
Moebius
Sdric
Gunzilla

We will either play 4 players plus sdric hosting or 5 so sdric doubles as host/player.


Rules (and changes to rules):
End of game and victory conditions


At the end of a round check these conditions in order:

1. If the Rebels or the Loyalists have achieved their main objective and four more, they win.
2. If a single player has achieved their faction's main objective and three more, that player wins.

In both these cases the Lannister Player shares in the victory if he has achieved his main objective and three more.

3. If at least one player has no more Nobles (neither on the board, nor in his draw pile), the player with the most achieved goals wins. Ties are broken in favor of Lannister, then Rebels, then Loyalists. In case two tied players belong to the same faction, that faction wins a a team.

Rules

1- No Winter is coming variant
2- No NWE
3- No forced captive release rule (so characters may remain captive indefinitiely)
4- Deck reduction: Remove all Bad weather and all good weather cards from the fortune deck, remove the CE deck, players directly draw a lord or lady from their character deck instead of drawing a CE card)Characters cannot be traded.
5- No Small council, all wardens vote for the hand of the king.
6- No north, the north region is not part of the board anymore except for Ned Stark and his army setup. Essentially Edmure starts the game outside of the board until he moves south whenever he decides to during any movement phase. Tropps may be recruited on Ned. While he is out of the board he is essentially out of the game except for ocuppying a slot on the house board and being a valid troop placement option. (This represents Edmure having to call his bannermen in the north at the start of his rebellion.) Barrowton is considered part of the north region.
7- 1 mill per village variant is enforced
8- Accelerated start, as part of setup each player draws a fortune card. Game starts on play cards phase.
9- No House abilities


Please PM any other rule change suggestion this is as much I could think of.

Sdric I already posted the rules changes on the original port, I suggest you go ahead, take lannister to be more neutral and randomly allocate 1 house to me, Darnico, Gunz and Mordred as well as a random starting order.

What do I do with the calamities drawn during septup (you should have your card) ?

I suggest to play with only 2 bad weather, 2 famine, 1 plague.
We have now only 15 fortune cards, and none of then can remove calamities.

Does calamities affect north ?
Does village in The North gives income ?

There are no calamities drown during setup, you directly assign a fortune card to each player. So no, no disasters, this is the same we had but faster for pbf as we save mechanic steps.

My idea was to remove the 4 BW and the 4 GW keeping all the BH and the famines so we do keep the ability to remove disasters. Your proposal does not that that.

I thought not removing the second plague as we don't have the WIC variant but I don't mind, up to you.

Sure about stark? Winterfell provides no gold.


Edit: Didn't count gulltown.

I think that noble abilities are yet to be factored in perhaps? Targ gets +3GD and Tyrell should get +1 for Mace...

I think it should be:

Stark: 14GD
Baratheon: 8GD
Lannister: 13GD
Targaryen: 10GD
Tyrell: 9GD

I would like to suggest one change to the setup. As we did not really start yet I hope it would be ok to implement it right away.

I would give Lannister only one Sept in Lannisport instead of the two mills. That would decrease their income by 2, but protect Tywin the tyrant from Uprisings. The idea is that Lannister should not be able to practically decide the game in turn one by siding with one of the factions.

Oh and Targaryen has 11 GD as Rhaella is the Queen and Rich
