I assume red locations are considered "far away," which is the reason for the extra TU cost. My question is, why do you only tack on the 2 TU coming back? Why not just add 1 TU both coming and going? It would have more or less the same effect and make more thematic sense. Is there something I'n missing that would explain the uneven TU cost? I should note that I haven't yet played a game with a red location.
No it's more locations which are not so easy to leave, f.e. If you jump into a well, it's not so easy to get out again. So the penalty for leaving makes sense.
