Looks like it might be useful for board gaming, not just Poker night, especially with the padded rail.

Thanks OP. I have an octagon and have been looking for something bigger. I hav e never seen these. I am not sure what others think, but I love my poker table for gaming. I also have a nice vinyl covered wooden table top that goes on it when my wife uses it to puzzle.

Felt is only 20" wide.. hardly big enough for most game boards.

About 22"; we replaced our standard dining table with a dining/gaming table that's 27" wide - we found it easier to both reach across a game board, or to a draw deck of cards. I like a narrower table. I don't know if 5" would make it too narrow.

Isn't any standard game board going to be 24"? I'm thinking Ticket To Ride, Legends of Andor, pretty much any FFG game, etc. 22" really wouldn't cut it.

I'm very glad you guys pointed this out. I was seriously ready to grab this, but if it wouldn't fit that, it certainly wouldn't fit many other games like Dead of Winter or Battlestar Galactica

A non-exhaustive check of my game shelves found only 2 game boards that would not fit on a 22 inch wide table. The width of the Brass board is just a hair over 22 inches, and Mage Wars Arena isn't even close. Everything else I checked would fit including Power Grid, Concordia (closest at 21.5), and Ticket to Ride (but if you have the deluxe edition forget about it).
Which is not to say you'll be able to fit much next to most boards, but the boards themselves will fit.
