Trying to build a deck around Auto Cattle-Feeder, Ranches, Horses and Saloons with Lane Healey, Kyle Wagner and Clementine Lepp in my starting posse but struggling with deck design and getting good draws.

People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

The problem is the saloons ranches and horses don't overlap much in terms of having the same values. Horses and Ranches are pretty easy, but the saloons are mostly at 4, 5 and 6. 5s and 6s are good for Horses and Ranches but 4s not so much. Plus Morgan's dudes at the 6 value are pretty poor imo and the horse at 6 is the least useful.

I built a Horse and Ranch deck using 5,7 and 8 because those have the best clubs and hearts for horses as well as great dudes aside from the 5s which are also poor for Morgan.

I think it would be impossible to build a deck that incorporates saloons and ranches with the current card pool that shoots well and has a good draw structure. Personally I'd build a deck for Saloons and Casinos(108 Righteous Bandits is a good home for that with Forster Cooke along with Clementine) using 4s 5s and 6s and build a separate deck for Ranches and Horses using 5s 7s and 8s or 6s 7s and 8s.

My current horse build uses non-mechanical horses so I don't have any Mad Science in the deck but if you really want to include Cattle Feeders and Secured Stockyards you could switch out the 5s for Kings in the deck list linked below and create a new starting posse with Mad Scientists. You're losing a lot of good cards though by dropping 5s. Pistol Whip is a great shootout action, the deeds are very good, and Doomsday Supply can get whichever good you need at the moment be it a horse or a weapon.

Concerning values, if you want to have a lot of horses and get into shootouts, Calling the Cavalry on 6 is really good, i'd say.
(still need to build my own horses-deck though ^^)
And Roan(6) is cheap.
