There has been some confusion about how Riot Games will handle webstore orders from European customers, so here is all we know (read: may presume) so far:

According to Riot Games' website all European orders ship from Berlin. Currently, there is no reason to believe that this will be handled differently with the board game.

https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/203612240-Ri...: "North American and Asian orders ship from Chicago, USA while our European orders ship from Berlin, Germany."

Also, it has been stated via the video preview by Watch it Played that shipping to EU-countries will be approx. EURO 5-10 which also strongly suggests that games will ship from within the EU.

----------

UPDATE (21/09):

Today I reached out to Chris Cantrell (Riot Kades on BGG) who is a producer at Riot Games asking for clarification on the shipping process and this is what he kindly told me via Geekmail:

"The game will ship from our EU distribution center."

----------

"Shipping costs for the game:
• US: ~$8
• EU: ~€5-€10 varies by country
• CAN: ~$30
• AUS: ~$60
• NZ: ~$62"
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvgirZYxydM

NOTE: According to multiple posts by Riot Games members on their forums, the game will be available from their European webstore so you will not have to order from the NA store. In the right-hand corner of their webstore is a flag by which you can change to your desired region.

Any information about where Europeans should order from? Will it be from the US store or will we order from an EU store?

Stupid question time! I have signed up in giddy school child anticipation on the EU West site ready to order on the 13th - do I need to sign up and order through the North American site instead?

No, you will apparently be able to order the game via the EU store.

Regardless, the account you registered (which is basically a League of Legends-account) should universally work in all regions.

Re: Ordering from Europe: All we know so far (UPDATED)
Checking on the Internet , 11am PST is 8pm Bst. So for us in the UK it will be 8pm 20:00 kick off? . Is this correct?

Edit:
The fact the game will ship from with EU for a mere €8-10 just adds to the unbelievable value of this game. No rip off custom fees is a major bonus!

We're on BST here, and they're on PDT in the US, so it will be 7pm here. PDT and PST seem to be used interchangeably, but PDT is observed until Nov 1

No wonder we have seen different times quoted on their website, they state PST , but 7pm it is then

Worst case scenario, we end up pressing F5 a few times an hour early. Better early than late

Guest checking works great.
I was looking into making an account, but guest works so easy and fast I decided not to bother.
You can use PayPal for payment (or credit card).

This is correct. People here in the US use PDT/PST (or EDT/EST, etc.) interchangeably, but they shouldn't.

Daylight saving time ends this year on November 6. MvM will be available on October 13. Thus, the quoted time should be in PDT, not PST.

It's not a big deal, and people aren't going to get confused... but it's such a simple thing, why not fix it?

This is all very confusing.

Somebody needs to do a nice countdown app. This sort of thing.

https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/launch?iso=20161013T11...

I've no idea if this link will work for others, or if it's reliable. Like I said, somebody should do it.

Of the 30,000 print run, 15,000 being made available this October release, with rest in December from what I read. Anyone knows breakdown of US:European numbers? Also, not sure how many Chinese version which was stated to be available.

Great timing on the release when quite a few thousand avid European gamers will be leaving the game halls at Essen !

I'll wait for wave 2 (or 3, or 4).

(Yes I know in the scheme of things only a small %age of gamers will be at Essen, but even so).

The only thing left is the EU price of the game itself.

I would assume it's like for like, dollars to euros (so 75 euros) - that's usually the case with videogames/consoles. Any reason to think differently here?
