Great episode! Thanks!
This game really seems hard even with those beginner 2 missions. It does seem harder to win than the original Castle Panic.

I noticed 2 things.
At 1:02:00 at the end of Dave's last turn, he did not draw 2 new theats.
At he last turn of Nicky the Kingon ship does only deal 1 damage to the shield, which destroys it. But no more damage is done to the hull.

Keep it up. I love your playthroughs. thumbsup

This was a really good episode. Looks like the crew had a great time playing.

Here is what the last turn looks like after 5 missions.

Why aren't you PLAYING a game?

Love the theme of this one - so perfect for a Castle Panic re-theme. But it does seem to suffer mightily from an alpha-gamer - especially if all the cards are open. If you have a good group, this works. But if not, it drains the life out of a co-op. So for that reason, I'm not getting this one.

I'm also going to pass. The decision making in this 4p game seemed painfully slow at times. Also, the impressive centrepiece of a 3d model looks rather fiddly and can obscure the players' view (as was seen in this game).

Very much enjoyed the episode though, as always.

nelag macdahmer,

I work for BGG. I run our livestream shows from Essen, Gen Con, Origins and GAMA Trade Show. As for other well produced shows like ours and Tabletop I am not sure. I've seen a few shows that are doing this but haven't produced many episodes yet. I am super busy with my day job, BGG and the conventions to get much viewing in. Maybe some others can chime in suggestions.

Thanks for the note and for watching,
Lincoln

Have a look at Shut up and Sit Down:
https://www.shutupandsitdown.com/
Very well produced, but mainly Reviews. They have a few Playthroughs also though. Look at the Video->Lets Play section

I did not see the play through yet but, two things.

1) If there are 5 completed missions, then no new threats are drawn at the end of each player's turn.

2) Excess damage points are not carried over to a hull. So, if a shield has one point and suffers 2, then all that happens is that the shield is destroyed.
