Does anyone else think it may be cool to make a Trump variant of this game?

I've told friends who aren't into gaming about this game, and they're immediately apprehensive when I mention the name, "Secret Hitler".

Perhaps someone might be able to create a Trump variant, where Trump is in place of Hitler.

Instead of assassinating a player, one could instead perhaps "exile" them (perhaps to Mexico) or "dump" them out of the game. This may alleviate any concerns that people are playing a game where they are pretending to assassinate presidential candidates.

Instead of fascists and liberals, one could have Republicans and Democrats.

Instead of President and Chancellor, one could have Congress and President ... this may make sense in the game, as the USA Congress actually sends policies to the President for approval (or veto). It would also make sense in the second half of the game, where if Trump is elected President then the Republicans win the game.

Instead of investigating a player, one could have an impeachment of a player (is that equivalent)? ... maybe there is a better term than "impeachment".

One could call the variant "Secret Trump" or perhaps because it rhymes, "Dump Trump"

Think it's far more valuable to put Hillary in place of Hitler.
After all she's a closer historical match

Political discussion is NOT welcome in the game forums and will result in being moderated.

Please use the icon when you see disruptive or antagonistic comments or any other violations of the Community Rules. This serves two purposes:

1- using the icon will bring that post to the attention of forum moderators so they can deal with it appropriately. We prefer that you not respond to the post directly. Responding invites the offender to continue, and if you respond aggressively you may end up dragging yourself down with the offender.

2- if enough users flag a post using the icon then that post will be hidden from general view, preventing others from being exposed to it.

Thanks!
