Another Kickstarter, another miniature game. Same old, same old? I don't think so.

A preview here provides some details;
http://croiseechimeres.blogspot.nl/2015/05/world-of-smog-ris...

- 1 vs many (a tricky gametype to get onto some tables)
- Victorian setting
- Narrative, seemingly including NPC's
- Campaign, including gaining XP and such

Interesting things;
- A leader role that switches between players
- Rewarded for acting RPG-like
- Extra rewards for keeping NPC's alive?
- Very module boards. Streets with buildings placed on top, instead of Zombicide-like prints (which are already excellent).
- We're fighting zombies? Really, again?

I'm not sure if I'll jump on board myself. I have Conan coming in soon and we'll see how my group likes 1 vs many games. And that genre also knows the excellent Imperial Assault and CMON's own The Others, so it'd better offer something unique.

Here's to hoping that CMON makes another hard to resist campaign.

It's not just zombies or their leaders, if you follow the facebook group there is an evil circus pitting themselves against the heroes.

According to the fluff; apparently zombies are common place in their version of London. So the story goes they raise them and use them as slave labour which has driven many of the working class to unemployment and subsequently very desperate...

Talk about scab labour...!
