According to your opinion the game is still heavily dependent on the language? The cards are many and all with a lot of text? The cards are symbols and icons that can help understanding? Thank you.

Very language dependent.

To clarify: I think it would be very difficult but not impossible to learn without a good grasp of the language. You might require a cheat sheet for some of the more difficult/complicated effects.

For what I can see of the game:
- You need to have a translated rule, that is of course mandatory if you don't have a good level in english (maybe some compatriote will make it)
- You will understand all the cards with the symbols but the explanation texts may be usefull to clarify some points.
- You will miss a big part of the flavor text on the cards, that is quite sad but will not stop you playing.

After the game is available, maybe try to find some other English speaking italians and produce an excel file for translation of the cards...

You can understand 90% of cards without text once you know the iconography. Some cards will have show an asterisk with the icons though, denoting that there are exceptions to the normal rules explained in the text. In particular, many cards that place tiles break the normal tile placement rules.

Jeff Noel is spot on here. There is text on some cards that is important, you need to be able to read and understand that. Otherwise, I think rules in the proper language might be enough.

I was going to say the same thing. It's primarily the asterisk (*) cards that require the text. All other cards can be understood from the symbols only.

There are not a lot of asterisk cards, so maybe someone can translate just those cards into Italian and post it here on BGG.
