I don't suppose this will be too difficult for very strong players, but it's still an interesting and fun position.

My opponent here is the very capable Maven program, and I've been struggling and playing from behind from the beginning after being hit with the opening bingo of COWSHED. At this point in the game, I'm 79 points down and Maven's last play has exactly emptied the bag (tile tracking is to the right side of the screen):

What is your play here? Can you save the game?

My scrabble scoring is kinda rusty, but isn't that worth 66 points? I had a similar answer in the same position:

but both are shy of 79 points

You get a bonus when going out first of all the other player's tile points. That will bring you over the 79 points needed.

Yes, both of these work.

My actual play was QUESTION.

Not to jump on you when you've already said you're rusty, but to avoid the chance of someone else being confused, that play is actually 58 points.

meeple
