Are all the objectives about loyalty tokens fulfilled even if the tokens are under the subjugated ones?

Ah, doctor, that aneasthetic is perfect!

Yep, they are. 'Subjugation' is something entirely different than 'loyalty'.

Yes. Subjugation does not change loyalty at all. A subjugated Imperial system can be loyal to the rebels.

Thanks...it's very very much easier this way!

I was a numb rebel leader: I played as I had to conquer the system (diplomacy and secure the ground) to achieve the objectives...and sometimes I actually did it!

Please note that this is true about cards that specifically refer to the "loyalty" of a system.

A subjugated system with Rebel Loyalty is an Imperial System and not a Rebel System if that terminology is used instead.

The token on top tells you which system the player belongs to, but the loyalty token is who it is loyal to. A subjugated system can still be loyal to the Rebellion. They are occupied and forced to support the Empire but they don't like it.

I believe all possibilities break down like this:

Token Type Rebel Loyal Rebel System Imperial Loyal Imperial system
None N N N N
Rebel Y Y N N
Rebel + Subjugated Y N N Y
Subjugated N N N Y
Imperial N N Y Y

Interesting way to break it down. I think that really illustrates the different playstyles for the Rebels and Empire- with the Rebels, you're hoping lot of loyalty- with the Empire, a lot of planets.
