Hi Patrick,

If you go into the glossary you can find out more about microbadges.

Have a great time exploring.

The image size is 16 x 16 pixels (yeah, really).

The first time you make one, the process is a bit confusing, but it really comes down to two steps after you finish making the badge:

1) Peer review. Make a post to a specific BGG thread used for publicly displaying the badge, including the badge image and the proposed name, mouseover text, and the category. OST category would be Board Games and subcategory would be the letter 'O'.

It is also helpful to include a yes/no poll that offers two choices: a) 'It looks ready' or b) 'Needs more work'

Leave it up there a few days, and the experienced designers will comment on it with suggestions if necessary. Here is an example:

2) Submission. Fill out the Microbadge Submission form. Here it is...

BTW, you upload the tiny new badge using the 'Gallery' tab in your BGG profile page. It is a typical http select file to be uploaded button, and then an upload button. Refer to your badge using its image ID number when you want to put it in your posts above.

Hope this helps...merely trying to give a first timer an overview...
