Hillary's Goldman speeches have finally been released .. er, I mean hacked. And if it's true, I think she leans more libertarian then I thought.

Private Hillary sounds more like a capitalist, free trade type then public Hillary.

So far what's been released about her Wall Street speeches is exactly what I would have expected.

Nothing about grabbing testicles, though.

Sort of, maybe. The new batch of leaks contain more of the alleged DNC emails. Some of these supposedly contain excerpts from the Wall Street speeches.

Wikileaks has published doctored items previously, so the authenticity of these will never be known for sure.

But if they make you like Hillary more, go for it!

So if this is really what she said, and is as represented then vote for her, and not the authoritarian Trump.

Totally serious. I have always been worried that she is more left moonbat, but this appears to show she is more like GW Bush then Bern-out socialist.

I need more then this to vote for one of the two parties, but economically she sound more sensible the Trump.

Also, I dont grab pussy, it grabs me. Hey oh !

Jesus, I am glad nobody recorded all the stupid shit I said with my idiot friends over the years.

The difference is that you're not running for president. Nobody cares about what the common person says or has said but a publicly elected official has to be careful and is accordingly held to a higher standard. We've already had enough dumbass presidents who couldn't control the stupidity that has come out of their mouths or pants.

He wasn't running for president either. Are you suggesting that once a person becomes a candidate for office that anything they have ever said in their entire lives is now a potential slur on them? Even if it was a decade or two or three ago?

This is just gotcha BS and if people are making a political decision based on some random guy-talk from 12 years ago then it's no wonder all we have on offer is a corrupt evil rape-enabler like Hillary running against a potty-mouthed real estate developer of questionable business ethics.

I think the whole "secret recording" thing is a distraction and anyone who changes their mind based on that is an idiot. But less of an idiot than the people pushing this story as important.

I can't decide whether to laugh or cry that Tripp is astonished that things people said or did in the past might be used to judge their character.

I'm sure by now you have heard many times that the Democratic party had moved in a more central direction. Those of us who were around for the Carter Reagan era certainly have seen the trend. When Bill Clinton signed and supported NAFTA, it represented a significant shift away from protectionism and was resisted by labor unions.

It's ironic that Trump is now talking about dismantling the trade pacts that the GOP has struggled to bring about for decades. While trade reforms are appropriate, the reactionary crowd that wants to tear them down risk a return to the economy of the 70's.

Clinton is at bottom a pragmatist. If she is elected, she be far more concerned with legacy than you might imagine and her penchant for incremental change is likely to be far less disruptive than you fear. Plus, the GOP is hardly likely to allow for radical moves.

I guess this means Tripp is in favor of dropping the whole 'Shit the Clintons were accused of back in the 1990's that were proven to be total bullshit but hey! lets keep flinging this stale poo at her, it might stick THIS time!!' line of attack, right? Just never bring up Monica, or Filegate, or Whitewater, or any of that, ever again?

I mean, shit-
That was a long time ago, and she wasn't running for President. Let it go.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. If the rest of your actions are exemplary then you'll be forgiven your limited faux pas. If the rest of your actions are still in line with what you've said then it just adds fuel to the already burning fire. That's why it's not a bs gotcha and I doubt anyone is basing their decision on this one misstep.

It's pretty clear that this is only the case when the media decides it's relevant. Are you suggesting that Trump and HRC are being treated equally by the media?

On a personal note - I care a whole lot more about what a person does than what a person says. If you think that words said are an insight into character and as telling as actions done then you may be imparting the wrong lesson to your children.

AND...

If you're going to make attacks on Democrats and their sexual improprieties, like this tweet from the Donald calling Rep. Wiener a pervert,

DON'T get anywhere near a mic and make comments about you feel that when you're a star you just go up to women and grab them by the pussy.

Wow! What vision! I'm impressed.

What gets me is how she can't afford to share this vision of hers on the campaign trail! I love my country, but really, Americans can be so annoyingly insular & suspicious of the rest of the world.

The stupid thing about this is that Hillary has made no secret about her support of free trade or that she is in bed with wall street. It just shows how blind the average conservative is that they don't realize Hillary is basically a moderate republican with liberal social views. Just more proof of blind partisanship.

Yup. I've told people if they don't like Trump they can vote for noted moderate Republican Hillary Clinton.
