Tournament Tilt is a humorous 2-player jousting game that should take 5-10 minutes to play.
The game plays in three rounds called "tilts" with 13 cards. The knight with the most points at the end of three tilts wins.

TOURNAMENT TILT CARDS for double-sided printers v1114 (Low ink b&w, 4 pages, 2mb)
Print 2-to-2 sided and cut out along the black lines of the backside (Tournament Tilt side) of the cards just in case there was some margin slipage with your printer.
Best if on cardstock and/or sleeved.

HERE ARE THE RULES (also found on the cards)
Spoiler (click to reveal)

Setting Up the Game
Players must sit across from each other at a table at least one meter wide.

Choose the most trustworthy player to be scorekeeper. He takes a scrap of paper and a sharpened pencil to record points after each round, or tilt.

Each Player chooses either Lord Mustachio or Sir Jordan and takes that knight’s card.

Setting Up the Tilt
Shuffle all of the 13 Tournament Tilt logo cards and then lay them out face-up in a line from left to right in front of the players.

Players place their knight cards at the beginning of the line of cards (left side according to his/her own orientation), which will be on the opposite end of the line of 13 cards.

Lord Mustachio goes first on the first tilt and Sir Jordan will go first on the second tilt. Alternate who goes first during each tilt thereafter.

How to Play

Players choose whether to move their knight cards one or two on their first turn only.
After each player’s first turn, they must choose how far to move according to the choices on the card they land on.

Players take turns moving their knight between 1 and 3 spaces (cards) determined on what the card allows. Players would be wise to look ahead and plan how to “jump” the other knight.

If a player moves 2 or 3, then his knight card skips over the first card (and second if moving 3) to land on a card, thus “flagging” it. A flagged card is moved out of its spot and placed touching the knight card on the side of the player that just flagged it.

A knight wins the tilt when his knight card moves on top of or past the other knight card, representing winning the joust and knocking the other knight off of his horse. The tilt immediately ends (the knight does not get to flag a card he landed on if he jumped over the other knight) and score is determined. Winning a tilt is worth 5 points (more than any card flagged during the tilt)! While it is possible to win the game without winning tilts, it’s highly unlikely.

Scoring the Tilt (and possibly ending the game)
First, the card King’s Favor is used if it has been flagged.
Then use the cards you’ve flagged (plus 5 points if you won the tilt) to determine your score for the scorekeeper to record.

Return to Setting up the Tilt and repeat two more times. The player who has the highest score at the end of the three tilts wins. If there is a tie, then the player who won this tilt wins the game.

Re: [WIP] Tournament Tilt - 18 Card Contest - Ideas Phase
Very cool theme and the mechanics sound original Subscribed.

I actually thought about making a fantasy-themed joust game awhile back with orcs, golblins, elves jousting on steeds. I was leaning towards a rock-scissor-paper type choice to give results.

Re: [WIP] Tournament Tilt - 18 Card Contest - Component Ready
TT is ready to print and play.

There are two different files for the same game.
The first (and preferred) is for 2-sided printing (cardstock and sleeves recommended).
The second is for 1-sided printers. (Sleeves required)

Cheers!

Thanks Nick.
Although I made it in photoshop, the artwork is inspired by The Order of the Stick webcomics.
