hi, my new copy of under the pyramids was missing a bunch of the cards and I don't have the treasure map card. While I'm sure i'll get a replacement from ffg i'd like to play the game. Can someone tell me what's on the back of the treasure map card? I see from online previews that the front says "when you get this from the deck place a clue on it" and "when you resolve a location encounter or expedition encounter flip this card"... but what's on the back?

And by "location encounter" do they really mean an encounter anywhere?

thanks!

Yes. A treasure can be hidden anywhere, don't you think?

Not exactly. You misquoted the text. It says

Quote:
After resolving a location encounter or an Expedition Encounter on that space, flip this card.
(emphasis mine)

'that space' refers to the space indicated on the Clue you placed on the card 'faceup'. I.e. the Clue only serves to tell you which random space the treasure map refers to. You then have to go there, have a location or expedition encounter and you get to flip the card.

The flip side offers a modest reward (there are at least 3 variants).
