Is it really only possible to pay via creditcard on the ares website to get a late backer pledge?

I'm assuming you want PayPal, but all I could think is that you want to pay cash. shake

You can also look into debit cards, prepaid credit cards and "gift" credit cards (similar-ish to prepaid). In the US at least, you can go to most major stores that have gift cards and buy "gift" credit cards for a small fee.

What do you mean with gold or sword points? It only shows several creditcards on the ares websites

And yes I would have been happy to pay via paypal.

But thank you both for your answers so far!

He's joking; the game features gold as a currency and lots of violence at sword point.

I'm pretty sure you can use PayPal. I'm 99% sure that's what I did.

Are you sure? Because when I want to check out on the ares pledge manager I can only choose between several creditcards but no other method... and I really want the game with all the KS goodies cry

I've already tried though the late pledge manager it simply doesn't give PP as an option. I suspect if you were part of the original kickstarter that had a inbuilt PP option which is no long available.
