Very cool game, but we were not sure about the stacks of played location cards: Are they completely open to see (so the creature can see which Player has been to which Location before) or is it all hidden Information (so the creature has to remember the cards, that were played)?

Thanks in advance

The creature must be able to see the figure on each card in your discard pile. So it's open.

It isn't hidden.
There is even a card (Survival deck) which tells to hide discard piles for a turn.
