Would the following be a good errata to balance Scouting?

"Controlled zone with Trog Party/Nest only score half of the crystals (round down)."

Have you tested it? It would weaken the scoring a bit for Humans, but the real problem with Scouting is that it allows them to spread faster than any other faction, with an action efficiency that cannot be matched.

This proposal also makes Scouting too weak in a 4 player game. Scouting is only really broken in a 2 player game, but OP in a 3 player game, and just fine in 4 player game.

In my tests removing scouting from the pool of available skills is the best, fastest fix to get a game that plays balanced, fun, and unscripted at all player counts.

Sometimes the simple answer is the right one.
